Federal Minister of Justice Dr. Stefanie Hubig opens Legal Tech Day 2025 in Berlin

On October 9, 2025, the Legal Tech Association Germany will host Legal Tech Day 2025 in Berlin. The central conference on digitization, innovation, and the rule of law.

On the eve of the conference, Dr. Stefanie Hubig, Federal Minister of Justice, will personally welcome guests to Legal Tech Night.
On the day of the conference itself, Prof. Dr. Luise Hölscher, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Digital and Public Administration, will also give an official welcome address. The strong political presence from the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Digital Affairs underscores the role of Legal Tech Day as a bridge between law and innovation and makes it clear that the digital transformation of the legal market is a joint task for politics, law, and society.
Federal Minister of Justice Dr. Stefanie Hubig emphasizes in advance:
“Just as the digital world needs the rule of law, the rule of law needs digitalization. The Federal Ministry of Justice has initiated many important reforms in a short period of time and is continuing along this path. This is one of our priorities with the Pact for the Rule of Law. Clear political decisions and the courage to change – this is what judicial employees expect from us, the federal and state governments together. Legal Tech Day creates space for important ideas, and I am delighted to be kicking things off this year.”

Legal Tech Day brings together experts from politics, the judiciary, the legal profession, academia, and legal tech to discuss the future of the legal market. The focus is on issues of access to justice in the digital age, new business models, and the use of artificial intelligence.
“The fact that both the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection and the Federal Ministry of Digital and Public Administration are prominently represented at our event demonstrates the political relevance of our work. Legal Tech Day is a place where law and technology engage in open dialogue. In this way, we are jointly laying the foundations for a modern constitutional state,” says Alisha Andert, Chair of the Board of the Legal Tech Association Germany.
