ALISHA ANDERT TAKES OVER AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE LEGAL TECH ASSOCIATION
As of May 1, 2026, Alisha Andert has taken over as executive director of the Legal Tech Association of Germany. As a co-founder and long-time volunteer chairwoman of the board, she has known the association since its inception—and now she is also shaping its day-to-day operations.

THE ASSOCIATION TODAY: A STRONG PLATFORM FOR THE GERMAN LEGAL MARKET
The Legal Tech Association Germany is now the central platform for innovative companies in the German legal market. Since its founding in May 2020, the trade association has established itself as a strong voice for the legal tech industry: As a business network, it brings together all key players, promotes innovation, and represents the industry’s interests in the political arena and the public sphere. Its members include legal tech companies, law firms, legal departments, legal protection insurers, litigation funders, and other players in the modern legal market.
Alisha Andert (35) has now taken over as the association’s managing director, effective May 1, 2026. She succeeds Valerie Keilhau, who led the association as managing director for the past four years.

THE NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR: ALISHA ANDERT
Alisha Andert is an attorney and has been an active participant in the legal tech industry in Germany for many years. She began her career as Head of Legal Innovation at the B2C legal tech companies Flightright and Chevalier. Over the past five years, as co-founder and managing director of the innovation consultancy This is Legal Design, she has primarily been responsible for implementing legal operations projects in legal departments. At the same time, she co-founded the Legal Tech Association Germany in 2020 and has served as its volunteer chairwoman for the past six years. In this role, she played a key role in the association’s development, shaping its content, setting its strategic direction, and raising its profile in the political arena. With her professional experience in corporate settings, consulting, and association work, Alisha Andert brings both deep industry knowledge and a strong network to her new role. She has firsthand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities in the legal tech industry and is now stepping up to further develop the association.

“With Alisha Andert joining the executive board, a new phase is beginning for the association. As a co-founder and a key figure in the association, she knows the industry, the members, and the issues better than anyone else. We are delighted that she will now be leading the association into its next phase on an operational level,” says Stefan C. Schicker, Chairman of the Board.

Maraja Fistanić, Chairwoman of the German Legal Tech Association, comments: “Alisha knows the association like no one else. With her experience, vision, and network, she is the ideal person to take legal tech in Germany to the next level. We are very much looking forward to continuing our collaboration in this new configuration.”

STRATEGIC FOCUS: COMMUNITY, VISIBILITY AND GROWTH
Under the new leadership, the association will place an even greater emphasis on community, visibility, and growth – with the goal of scaling legal tech across the board and positioning the association as an indispensable institution for the German legal market.
Andert comments: “Legal tech is no longer a niche topic—it is changing how law is conceived, practiced, and accessed. My goal is to actively support this transformation: through a strong community, bold initiatives, and a clear voice in politics and the public sphere.”
