Admitted to the bar in 1996, Volker Römermann has been teaching professional law at universities since 1997. At the Humboldt University in Berlin, he is an honorary professor and one of the directors of the Research Institute for Lawyers’ Law. Already 30 years ago, Volker Römermann dealt with the German Legal Advice Act (Rechtsberatungsgesetz) and presented the first commentary on the RDG in 2008. In countless mandates, lawsuits and legal opinions, he has fought on behalf of clients for freedom from outdated prohibitions under professional law.
